Hair Farm work - Uploaded to CG Society Portfolio

CG Hair - These were the CG Hairstyles that I made during Becca Baldwin’s course – ‘Creating and Styling CG Hair’ (JAN 2013).

My portfolio can be viewed here:
http://adamwconway.cgsociety.org/
Or on my own website at:
http://www.adamwconway.com

It was an excellent 8 week course, exploring the intricacies in creating a CG hairstyle and what to look out for when fine-tuning your CG hair work for a final piece. I would thoroughly recommend this course for anyone interested in learning more about this subject. These grooms were made using the Hair Farm plug-in for Autodesk 3DS MAX and rendered with Default Scanline. I took several of the grooms further by rendering video turntables and simulations, these are uploaded to my YouTube channel.

Axiom Void Title Sceen Concept Art

Here is the latest Axiom Void comic artwork! The image is now the main header on the website and has a slight retro feel. The characters and story continue to evolve over time, it's a slow process, but I hope to roll out more artwork as the year goes by. Thanks for stopping by! Adam :)

Bravest Warriors - Fan Art - zbrush sculpt

I'm a big fan of Pendleton Ward's Adventure Time, so when I was told about his latest project 'Bravest Warriors' and I saw how cool the characters looked, I really wanted to set myself the challenge of creating one.

I have recently switched from using mudbox to zbrush 4R4 and have been looking for a project to get stuck into, so this was perfect.

It was a fun challenge and a valuable learning experience for discovering the new tools that zbrush has to offer.

I will look into the possibility of creating more characters in future. It would be cool to get them all together!

I will update my website with future updates: www.adamwconway.com

Here is a video of the Havok Cloth that i set up for the characters in DJ Hero.
It is quite a long video, so I am currently working on a much shorter version that has better timing with the music.

DJ Surikizu Paper toy - DJ Hero 2

DJ Surikizu was the first character that i had ever created from concept to final in-game asset. So after the release of DJ Hero 2, I decided to make a paper toy version of her for a bit of fun in my spare time.
I will post more images of the final model and the templates to make it, as soon as i have tidied them up a bit.
